Tip of the Week

Lily bulbs need perfect drainage in order to grow properly. If your soil is heavy clay add sharp builders sand and organic matter like peat moss or compost to break up the clay. If this is not feasable try raising your bed by using railroad ties or pressure treated 4x4's. Add a good soil mix to a depth of 8-12 inches and then plant your lily bulbs.
